Our eighth graders will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Monday, April 27th at 7:00 pm. Please keep them in your prayers.

On Tuesday, April 28th, St. Mary students will have a recycling program presented by Wendy Bullock, the Educational Specialist for the Stark-Tuscarawas-Wayne Joint Solid Waste Management District. It will focus on recycling, natural resources, and the environment.

"Dads Do Hot Lunch" this week. They'll be serving tacos, applesauce and dessert from Herbie's.

The Kindergarten will be busy taking the Metropolitan Test this week. Plenty of rest and a nutritious breakfast will get them off to a good start.

Spring Picture Day is May 1st. Students may wear dress-up clothes or uniforms.

Our second grade students will be celebrating "Jesus Day" on April 29th. This day is planned to help them prepare to receive their First Eucharist. Please keep our second graders in your prayers as they celebrate Jesus Day this week and receive First Eucharist on Saturday, May 2nd.

Fourth quarter interim time ended Friday, April 24th. Interim Reports will be sent home on Thursday, April 30th. Please take this time to talk to your child/children about the importance of education. Spring weather may necessitate some continued encouragement to make the best use of the last part of this school year.

Give your child a gift of a lifetime. Education at St. Mary School is not as expensive as you may think. Registration for current and new students is now in progress. For Kindergarten registration, students should be five years old before September 30th. Please bring a birth certificate, social security number, immunization record and Baptismal certificate, if not baptized at St. Mary Parish. Busing is available from Tuslaw, Fairless, Perry, Jackson and Massillon. You may inquire about registration in the school office or call 330-832-9355 and ask to speak to Mrs. Shadle. Registration for Preschool is also taking place. Extended Day is available for all of our students including Preschoolers. If you are a parishioner, help is available from the parish for those who qualify. Please ask if you think you might need assistance.

May Market Day orders are due Thursday, May 7th or on the internet by noon Saturday May 9th. Thank you to all parents, parishioners, and friends who help us through this fundraiser! The May Market Day will be the last for this school year. Remember to stock up on your favorites for the summer.
