Welcome
|
|
As pastor of St. Mary Parish, it is my privilege to greet you in the name
of St. Mary's congregation.
Our parish has been here in Massillon since 1839 and is still a thriving
and energetic community, dedicated to serving Almighty God in every
way possible. We are especially proud of the fact that our Church is
dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God, in the city of Massillon, which
is named for French Bishop
Jean Baptiste Massillon, Court Chaplain for one of the Kings of
France and later Bishop of Clermont in France.
In addition to the many ministries of our people we also are particularly
happy that our St. Vincent de Paul Society serves the poor in our area
by providing food assistance to all who call for help.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Saint Mary's please
get in touch
with us. May the peace of Jesus Christ be with you always.
